KOTOR II in 2005

LucasArts annouced today their sequal to KOTOR, KOTOR II, The Sith Lords, will be ready in Decmber instead of the previously annouced February.

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo. "We recently completed a very important milestone which confirmed we can confidently do this."

SW DVDS are almost HERE!!!!

IGN posted their reveiw of the new Star Wars 4-disk special... it looks ver very good. Heres my recap.

Lightsabers have are now much cleaner, as in the blades. Their color looks rich, and they are much more defined.

Han and Greedo shot at the same time, Han ducks faster.

Many of the Vader scenes have been changed. In VI when the helmet comes off, he looks more like the new Anni, played by Haydren. Also, he's ghost is now much more like Hydren.

Vader speaks longer to the Emperor, in which he discusses Luke. Also, Ian does the Emperors voice and image.

Boba Fett's voice is replaced with the same voice as in II.

Complete graphioc over-haul...from landspeeders to rancors to space... it looks much better.

Unfourtantly, it looks like theres no deleted scenes offerd. Why?!?

Burnout 3 Reveiw

This is the second reveiw this month

IGN.com score: 9.5
Teamxbox.com Score:9.6
Gamespot.com Score: 9.5

Sound
+Nice Selection
? Not as intergrated as most EA games

Graphics
+Very good
+Nice cities
- A little bland (i.e. boxes of hey are just yellow boxes)

Controls
+/- Just OK
-Custum weak

Gameplay
+ Nice additions
+ Racing works, surprisingly
- Its like putting MM3 and PGR2 into one disk... so they both are scaled down

Live
+ Nice set-up
-Still EA PROBLEMS!

Overall
Burnout 3 is by the best ever in its series. However, I find MM3 a better crash game, and PGR2 a much better racer. Since I already own both, this game offers little more. The cities are wondeful, but why so bland??

Verdict
9/10

Yet more Axons

Yep, another wave of axons over at ILB.com have been released. This time, we skipped 4 and went right to 5. 5 phone calls must be answered now in order to "unlock" the .wav file on the new list.

We're about half-way up the long climb to 777 total axons. And its only been two weeks. Imagine how far we're get by November 9?

Happy B-day Google

Today Google turns 6 years old. Its hard to imigine what I did without it back in 1998...

Think of it this way, Google is a company who has managed to get their name in Webster, and in everyday language. "I just Google-ed it" is a common phrase now to describe searching the Web for a term.

Happy B-day Google: Heres to G-mail being just as revoultionary as the orginal.

New GMail Account

I finaly managed to get my hands on a G-Mail invite. Yes, I am now a member of elite status, with a barnd new address to go with it.

I am in the process of switching everything over from my old account at Hotmail to my new one. My old one will stay open as I can't close down my .Net pass without creating a new account on the fourms. So, you'll still be able to e-mail me over there, but it may take me awhile (if at all) to respond.

My new addy is Stardrummer@gmail.com.
